Population Service in Pulogebang Complained

The population administration service in Pulogebang Urban Village, Cakung are complained. Besides slow, the related official is also rarely in the office. Thus citizens should go back and forth to the urban village office.

Based on the information gathered, Tuesday (9/6), tens of citizens lined up to the terrace and parking. They are joined by the people who will propose licensing at the PTSP office.

As experienced by Suminah (51), a citizen of RT 02/01 Pulogebang admitted she is been go back and forth to the urban village office two days processing e-ID card yet not yet served. Although requirement is complete and document has been submitted to the counter, but she had to wait because the file has not been signed by the head section.

"Difficult to get signing from head section. This is very complicated," she told, Tuesday (9/6).

She hoped the processing is not wordy so no residents were harmed. 

Similar complaint also came out from Uni (40). She admitted, has processed leaving letter of her brother, Doni Rahmat (28) to Padang, West Sumatera this past week. The problem is the same, that is awaiting a signing from head section.

"I've met the requirement a week ago. But now, it is not yet processed by the officer. Surely it makes me tired," she complained.

Meanwhile, Pulogebang Urban Village Secretary, Lolita Damayanti disclosed, the slow service is due to malfunctioned e-ID card recording device. Additionally, the number of people who queue is a lot, whereas service place is very small and only three officers.

As a result, the service had to be closed at 2 AM. Thus at around 5 PM, it can be served. They who have not been served could come on the next day.

"Our tool is often malfunctioned thus long queue happens. While we also need more officer here. Ideally it should be additional device and human resource for fast service," she explained. 

Head of East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept, Ahmad Fauzi admitted he would send officer to check out the device.

"We'll check it first. We will follow up it," he closed.
